FAQ

๐Ÿ’Œ Frequently Asked Questions

Who are in the wedding party?

Weโ€™re surrounded by an amazing wedding team! We have 7 groomsmen and 5 bridesmaids who will be celebrating alongside us. ๐ŸŽ‰
For any questions about the wedding party, please contact us! We are happy to answer any questions.

How will transportation be arranged?

We will not be arranging transportation for guests, but public transportation in the Netherlands is very easy and reliable. Trains and buses run frequently, and you can pay directly using your debit card. There are also Uber and taxi options available if you prefer door-to-door transport. For those driving, parking is limited near the venue, so plan accordingly.

Can I bring my own food and drink?

We will provide all food and drinks at the venue. Please do not bring your own, unless it is for **kids or babies**, in which case let us know and weโ€™ll accommodate. ๐Ÿฐ๐Ÿฅค

Can we bring gifts?

Absolutely! There will be a place at the wedding to leave gifts. You are also welcome to send them in advance if you prefer. See our Gift Registry / Travel Fund for ideas. ๐ŸŽ

Can I stay near the venue the wedding night?

If you would like to stay the night near the wedding venue, please check the link to hotel Bal (own cost). ๐Ÿจ

What if I cannot make the wedding physically?

If you won’t be able to make it physically to the wedding but would love to be able to stream the ceremony and watch it live, please contact us so we can share a link to where we will stream the ceremony live. ๐Ÿ“น๐Ÿ’

What are some things to do nearby?

If youโ€™re visiting from abroad, here are a few ideas:
Amsterdam (Capital): Canal cruises, Anne Frank House, Van Gogh Museum, Jordaan district strolls.
Haarlem (Our Hometown/Bart’s birthplace): Grote Markt, Frans Hals Museum, Jopenkerk & historic streets.
